Eh, I once received like 9 thumbs down for giving a scriptural answer that was not at all hateful, in any way, to any group. So, I'd say there are people on both sides giving away plenty of downward-pointing thumbs.

well that last remark doesn't make it a surprise of your thumbs down problem. if i even type the word God in a positive manner i get thumbs down. so its everybody.
you know even those people who preach science and logic, just shows how they really are.....

Probably not, I usually focus on what was said and not who was saying it.
When someone says what they're thinking the effect of it really doesn't change once you know who said it.
