When I would form attachments on people because they seemed to be 'cool' and wise, I found that they did not know as much as I thought they did. They merely formed an opinion on certain things which satisfied their curiosity. Those people who seemed to me to have it all together, didn't.
So when I started to have spiritual experiences, and realized that I had spiritual experiences going way back, I knew that there were some things that people just weren't aware of. They doubted them merely on the basis that they themselves had no such experiences.
When I learned that, it set me free from those people about spiritual things. They might be an authority about other things, but not spiritual things. For that, I had to learn spiritual things from people who had spiritual experiences, or could teach on them.

that if someone is unkind or is rude , mostlikely it has nothing to do with you . you should never be rude back because you never know what could have happen to them that day. when people are harsh or rude. most likley something terrible is going on with them . a sickness a death, loss of something.
alot of the time when were hurting . we lash out .
that's something I wish I could have learnd a little sooner than I did ...

The analogy of my own mixed ethnicity to describe Jesus' dual nature. It always serves as a reminder to me that most spiritual questions are not as complicated as people make them out to be.

when i was little, pizza was my favorite food. i LOVED those cheesy, greasy triangles! to my young mind, pizza = joy
when i was old enough, we went to a sit-down pizza restaurant. i couldn't wait! and, soon enough, a server appeared with a tray
but what he put on the table confused and frightened me
it was a large circle! where were my treasured triangles? i want PIZZA, not some big circle!
imagine my surprise when my parents cut the circle into triangles. all along, i had been mistaking my little slice for the whole pizza
i learned something about perception that day. each of us perceives just a small triangle, and, most of the time, we mistake that thin slice for the whole, forgetting about the rest of the circle

My mom taught me it's polite to always wait until everyone has their meal to eat. I thought about that and decided it would be polite to expand upon that and be considerate of others whatever the circumstances. My mom is a great lady.

Never raise your hand to a woman. I never have and never will.
And
If you claim to know everything it obviously means that you know nothing. That one is my particular favorite.

Life isn't fair. Expecting it to be fair will make you unhappy and trying to make it fair is a lost cause. My grandmother told me this, and I've never seen evidence against it.
