I have been having the same dream for the past week and it scares me everytime I think about it. Maybe someone can tell me what this dream means.

I dream that I am in California watching the sunset along the coast when all of a sudden I feel violent earth movements beneath my feet and as I look around, I see buildings falling down and hear people screaming and it makes me wonder if I have somehow managed to see in my dreams the big earthquake that will divide the entire State of California from the rest of the USA, making it an Island.

This big earthquake is estimated by scientists to run true along the San Andreas Fault Line that runs down the entire state of California and it is a terrible dream to have to endure every night when I am sound asleep, any suggestions?

Jody: Why thank you very much for your insight, but what scientists tell us today often changes tomorrow, since no one is a true expert on things of this nature, except Nature itself. Scientists can only estimate what they think will happen, they do not know for sure. If scientists knew for sure what will happen with the Earth, then they wouldn't be called scientists, but GODS!

some people may think that these dream is something to do with my own life, but when I was a kid, I had a dream that showed my friend being killed by someone running down the street, and although it was many years later, the dream did come true, a close friend was shot to death in a mistaken drive-by-shooting. I only had that dream once, this dream I have been having for the past week, so whether anyone wants to believe me or not, I feel that whatever it is that I am dreaming about and so many times will actually happen.

lala: What you say in regards to your answer is very true, only this upheaval happened to me several years ago, when I had to make a choice between making hundreds of thousands each year doing illegal work or keeping my nose clean and walking a tight straight line. I made a promise to my father to give up the rich luxurious life and go straight, and because my word is my bond, I have kept my word to my father, sometimes wishing I never made this promise to him before he passed away.

This dream of the big earthquake in California seems more and more real everytime I dream it, and the room that I sleep in has no noise, no tvs, radios or any outside interferance whatsoever, it is very quiet in this room.

I use to reside in La Jolla, California and we were always told that the big one could hit everyday, but never did, and now that I am an adult, I have not been back to California in over 40 years, so I don't understand how such a dream could be playing with my head now!

Maybe you've been worrying about this earthquake thing a little too much and it's beginning to show in your dreams.

That, or you feel like what you know and love is being divided and taken from you suddenly. You're drifting away now from your problems, but it wasn't like you had a choice in the first place.

Hope that helps:)

Your dream seems like something from the book of Revelations. The book of Revelations talks of a great earthquake that will come during the time of the great tribulation. Also, the Lord revealed to me one time that California would fall into the ocean all the way up to Nevada and Utah. Also, a huge split was right down the middle of the United States where Missouri and Arkansas were. Lastly, New York fell into the ocean along with the easten seaboard. The Lord showed me this in 1995.

your dream could be your subconscious trying to tell you something or it could be your fear. It sounds like what the scientists say is something that is pretty important to you. Are they are details that change. I would say to keep a journal each night to see if things change. Also what you do right before you sleep affects your dreams... like if you drink caffeine or eat etc... also do you sleep with a tv or radio on? what you are watching can affect it as well (this has happened to me and i was like wtf till i woke up and realized what was on tv had alot to do with what i just dreamt). It sounds really strange to say this to people who don't me but i have dreams after loved ones have past and they come to me in my dream to tell me they are okay. Example... my great grandmother was blind and in my dream we walked up a mountain side and watched a sunset and she said it's so beautiful and i said grandma what do you mean you can't see and she replied... it's just so beautiful and i can finally see it now and i'm just so happy and i'm okay... those same type of dreams happen with out fail... and it's not always right away. So unless the dream wierds you out to the point where you don't want it... either ask god to help you remember your dreams or ask god to help you remember only good things... hope this helps.

Dreams are created by your unconscious, so they have no access to prophetic information about the future. IOW, this dream does not literally mean there is going to be an earthquake destroying Calif. I would say that you are going through some kind of instability, change, or upheaval that your unconscious symbolizes as the earthquake.

thats a real tough one. it could be that big changes are going to happen in california because you are watching the sunset like the old "day" is ending. Why would you be having dreams that apply to states and other people? It sounds like you are a prophet.

If you've ever taken a geology class you know if is physically and geologically impossible for California to "fall off" the US and become an island.

properly desires are the main weird of the qualitiees that people have...on my opinion desires are astounding. they're in basic terms obtainable yet no scientific guy or woman has ever studied them., or a minimum of properly. i think of that desires are a manner of letting your ideas relax and permit it ask your self on ur ideas uve had in the process an afternoon.. perchance is the thank you to alleviate stress.

I kept dairies of my visions, wrote them down on waking whilst still fresh in my mind some appeared as actual events as you describe, others weirdly symbolic.
