I have been having the same dream for the past week and it scares me everytime I think about it. Maybe someone can tell me what this dream means.
I dream that I am in California watching the sunset along the coast when all of a sudden I feel violent earth movements beneath my feet and as I look around, I see buildings falling down and hear people screaming and it makes me wonder if I have somehow managed to see in my dreams the big earthquake that will divide the entire State of California from the rest of the USA, making it an Island.
This big earthquake is estimated by scientists to run true along the San Andreas Fault Line that runs down the entire state of California and it is a terrible dream to have to endure every night when I am sound asleep, any suggestions?

Jody: Why thank you very much for your insight, but what scientists tell us today often changes tomorrow, since no one is a true expert on things of this nature, except Nature itself. Scientists can only estimate what they think will happen, they do not know for sure. If scientists knew for sure what will happen with the Earth, then they wouldn't be called scientists, but GODS!

some people may think that these dream is something to do with my own life, but when I was a kid, I had a dream that showed my friend being killed by someone running down the street, and although it was many years later, the dream did come true, a close friend was shot to death in a mistaken drive-by-shooting. I only had that dream once, this dream I have been having for the past week, so whether anyone wants to believe me or not, I feel that whatever it is that I am dreaming about and so many times will actually happen.

lala: What you say in regards to your answer is very true, only this upheaval happened to me several years ago, when I had to make a choice between making hundreds of thousands each year doing illegal work or keeping my nose clean and walking a tight straight line. I made a promise to my father to give up the rich luxurious life and go straight, and because my word is my bond, I have kept my word to my father, sometimes wishing I never made this promise to him before he passed away.
This dream of the big earthquake in California seems more and more real everytime I dream it, and the room that I sleep in has no noise, no tvs, radios or any outside interferance whatsoever, it is very quiet in this room.
I use to reside in La Jolla, California and we were always told that the big one could hit everyday, but never did, and now that I am an adult, I have not been back to California in over 40 years, so I don't understand how such a dream could be playing with my head now!
