Reconciling the Bible with the Koran, or disputing the Bible because of the Koran is confusion. There is no reconciliation between the Bible and the Koran.

You see, the Muslims I have communicated with have certain problems. They try to take certain things of the Bible and use them to their advantage. If it were me, I would have warned Mohammad about doing that. It makes a mess.

I will demonstrate:

1) Muslims say they believe in Jesus Christ. But they do not believe what He said when He said:
John 3
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."

They don't believe that Jesus said that, and so are saying that Christians are liars, the disciples are liars, and the Bible is full of lies. They cannot have it both ways, either they don't believe in the Bible, or they do. If they discount the most often used verses and most meaningful and basic principles of what Jesus said, then they really don't believe in Jesus, because the Bible has him saying that He is God's Son.

2) The Muslims say they believe in the Torah. Either they are telling me the wrong thing, or they are lying, and do not believe in the Torah. Because the Torah says:
Genesis 17
21 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year."

That's not Ishmael. That's Isaac. And that's not Hagar, the mother of Ishmael, but Sarah, the mother of Isaac.

So either the Muslims are lying and really do not believe the Torah, or they are confused, and are taught to believe that they believe in something that is not true.

Mohammad made a mistake by taking the Bible and using it as a reference. Because no matter how they try, they cannot cut it up like they do and still be in agreement with it.

The Holy Bible used in Catholic Church's and Protestant Church's are the same bible.

Through the years the dialect has been updated to maintain relevancy for communication purposes but, the content is exactly the same. Nothing in any of them contradict each other or vary's. The Holy bible is in every known language in teh world.

As for the Quran...I, as a Christian, have never said that it was a copy-cat of the Holy Bible.

God bless.

I think your logic is a bit flawed. The Koran is not a copy of the Bible. There are several key differences that make them different. With that said any idiot can copy something. Hollywood tries to do that all the time. Think about the number of great old movies that they have remade into horrible flops. The original is always better because that is what everyone tries to copy. Your logic actually makes the Bible sound better because it didn't come from a copy.

"That mean your bible is easy to copy cat"
No easier than any other written work.

"it a same what we get from Muhammad until now"
Not so: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sana%27a_manuscripts

"But not like bible.catholic and prostentan using different bible. now tell me who is fake"
As mentioned, the differences between bibles are
1) the translation
2) the books chosen to be included (usually either 66 or 72)

There *are* differences in the source texts - but the same is true of Qur'an manuscripts. Considering that Christianity has had several more centuries to hand-copy errors into their far more numerous manuscripts than have been found of the Qur'an, it is amazing that so few errors and additions have been discovered. In other words, most of the copyists were very careful. You can hardly justify the Qur'an on "our book has fewer translations than the bible, and our book, so much shorter than the bible, and so much more recent, has had far fewer differences in manuscript copies than the bible". Using this justification, the Book of Mormon would be far more "trustworthy" than the Qur'an.

...The false prophet, Mohammad, who was unable to read or write had his "rants" written by others after he watched a piece of space-junk (a meteor) fall from the sky as he worshiped the "moon god" of Arabia... This false prophet also was a pedophile (with very very young girls)... Remember, the promise of God (YHWH) was given to Abraham and the children of the Hebrew Tribes...not Ishmael, the son of Hagar (the slave woman) who abandon the faith and went out on their own... and please, keep copying the Bible... the more it's copied the more the Truth of YHWH God will be told and known...
