How are guns horrible?? That’s like saying, "Why do people make pens, they're horrible?"

A gun is an inanimate object. It’s a paper-weight without the intervention of man. Since the invention of gunpowder in China prior to the 15th Century, and the first “hand cannons” around 1415, guns have been shaping the world that we live in today. The gun has shaped civilizations and tumbled governments. If it wasn’t for the horrible gun, I would be responding to you in German.

I agree that what some people have done with guns is horrible, but those are the few that give the many a bad name. Nearly 95% of all aggressive crimes committed with a gun, the weapon are an illegally owned firearm. Those who respect the laws are those that give you the freedom that you have to ask such a silly question. I value those who make guns and those who respect them. Sir, its thoughts and comments like that, which will get Hillary voted into office. And I think that we can all agree that the future of our great country can’t handle that.

Obviously you slept through your English classes. The word is not "there", the correct word is "they're". Also, the letter "W" in the word "why" should be capitalized becasue it is the first word in a sentence.

Guns, themselves, are not horrible as you incorrectly think. It is the misuse of guns that is horrible. If, in your mind, the misuse of a gun makes it horrible, then why don't you see cars as horrible? They kill people. What about baseball bats? They are misused to kill people and yet you make no mention of them. Tobacco? Drugs? Alcohol? The list goes on and on and yet, you single out guns as being horrible. I submit to you, that there is something wrong with your limited view of things that are to be considered as horrible.

Because there are still people on this Earth who still want to own & possess them.* If there were no people, there would be no guns, and thats the only time there won't be any guns.* Some use them legally and some use them illegally, but that has nothing to do with the gun.* It has everything to do with the person who happens to have one & whether they use it responsibly & legally or irresponsibly & illegally.** Don't find fault with the gun, the gun did not do anything, but the person holding it did or does.*

Guns are wonderful. Sport shooting is a thrilling pasttime. Hunting provides a lot of meat for my family for less than the cost of an equivalent amount of ramen noodles. Guns have kept this country free for 231 years. Guns make people think twice about breaking into my house in the middle of the night, unless they are really hungry for a lead salad! I hope I get more guns for Christmas!

Guns are simply tools of iron and wood, the same as a hammer. They have no knowledge of right for wrong, you should the people who use them for bad purposes accountable instead of inanimate objects.

as stated above guns dont kill people people kill people, guns are just a continuation and improvement of lethel force that has been present since the begining of time. one thing tho, guns have not kept this country free, look at the Reconstruction where unheard of gun laws coupled with racism prevented the freed slave from getting a firearm when he needed it most.
