It's possible, but not a good idea.

Yes, it is entirely possible. And if the poodle is the female, it could be dangerous or even life-threatening if she conceives.

If the smaller dog is the female, she could very well die from attempting to deliver puppies too big for her. If the mating has already happened, make sure you take her to the vet and explain. The vet might very well recommend ridding her of the puppies, or otherwise will likely want to keep a close eye on her during pregnancy and whelping. He/She may want to perform a cesarean delivery.

We had this happen to a small Miniature German Schnauzer. The puppies died in the womb during the attempted delivery and had to be removed by cesarean, and the mother needed surgery to survive.

It's possible, sure, but it's dangerous to the poodle. Small poodles are not meant to have big german sheperd pups! It could really hurt the poodle and she would probably need serious assistance in birth. (by a veteranarian who knows what they're doing of course!) If the poodle is already impregnated, I highly suggest a visit to your vet. Tell the vet this has happened and see what they reccomend. Hope this helps!

Everyone is, of course, assuming that you mean the poodle is the female and the german shepherd is the male. Like everyone else said, its possible but dangerous for the poodle. If, however, the German Shepherd is the female, it is completely possible and her pregnancy and labor would probably go fine, since the puppies would most likely be smaller. Like someone else said, if you think your dog is pregnant and you don't want her to have puppies, you can get her spayed while she is pregnant, as long as its not too late in gestation.

Yes. If the poodle is the female and much smaller than the German Shepherd then it is a danger to the poodles health. Whelping could kill the small poodle.

Is it possible? YES
Should you breed them? NO, because the poodle could have a lot of complications during the pregnancy or possibly die.

The only thing you can do now is to get the poodle spayed. Call the vet and tell the vet what is going on. Get her spayed before it is too late.

Oh yes anything is possible if you have not spayed or neutered your pet. Now I know this must be tough especially if your dog is the poodle. I feel very strongly about spay/neutring dogs. Your no ready for this. You need to get your dog to a vet, it has to have an abortion and you need to request an emergency spay/neuter.
Don't contribute to the amount of homeless dogs out there.
With the size of the pups your putting your own dog at risk.
You've learned your lesson and lots of people are going to give you heck so I'll spare you.
Hope I could help!

Possible, yes...but dangerous to the poodle.
The vet can abort a litter and spay the female if this has happened.

It is possible. I've seen stranger combinations, such as my all time favorite stupid combination of dog..the Pithuahua. (pit bull / chihuahua). Sadly, assuming the poddle is the smaller dog, she'll have a VERY hard time giving birth to such large puppies.

yes it is. unfortunatly it is very hard for a much smaller dog to give birth to a larger breeds puppies. The dog will probably need vet assistance in birth!
