If a woman chooses a man instead of a woman to stand in her wedding in the "maid of honor" place. What would he be called? NO I'm not gay, I just happen to have a best friend who's a girl and getting married.

Yup. Man of Honor.

People need to lighten up. There's nothing wrong with accepting if she asks you. It's about who is close to the bride and will make her day better....not who looks best in a dress.

Smiling..... My brother was my man of honor at my summer wedding this year. It isn't common but then again it isn't too uncommon. He is the person that knows me the best and that I can talk to about anything so I asked him if he'd stand up there with me and he did. I have to say that I'd rather have had him up there then anybody else. I say go for it, you are important in her life and the whole reason of a maid of honor is the person closest to you... and technically, if the person closest to her is you then you are her man of honor. Nothing wrong with it at all. I felt special knowing that everybody who attended the wedding seen my brother up there and knew that he was the most important person in my life and was there to support me on my special day. Have fun!! Oh and it doesn't mean that you have to be dragged to all the girl events (unless you want to) just means that you are significant in her life.

The titles of Maid of Honor and Best Man would be cancelled and each would be called an "Honor Attendant" in this type of situation.

Bride's Honor Attendant
Groom's Honor Attendant

You'd just be called an attendant. I have seen a wedding where the groom had a girl in as his "best man".....it works out. She just walked down the aisle alone instead of arm to arm with the maid of honor :).

Dont think of it grew to become into the media stress.. Its no longer linked with Sri Lankan media that bashing cricketers,, they save that for BCCSL contributors and a few politicians.. gamers are criticized each and every so often yet they're used to it i assume.. Cant say it grew to become into the stress from followers the two.. They have been for sure dissatisfied,, even heard couple of adult adult males committed suicide,, yet by way of now people have forgotten the misplaced and that they get alongside with their on an prevalent basis lives.. little question Mahela is a honorable guy and o.k. respected.. With him and Sangakkara being in the dressing room I see no politics there.. proficient people will earn appreciate and a form of proficient adult adult males is Angelo Mathews and he could've been given the T20 captaincy in the 1st place.. So i'd say,, in spite of the clarification in the back of his resignation,, he took the splendid determination in the top..

I would say attendant or man of honor. I think it is great that you are standing up for your best friend.

Maybe just Honor Attendant? Or, best man, even. If no one objects to that.
