I tend to be some of both.
I am naive in some ways and cynical in others.
I am sad to say that I am cynical of some of the questions that are asked here. It's hard to tell if someone is being genuine or if someone is attacking a group of people.

I am an idealist who has become a little battle weary due to the realities of this world. Neither naive nor cynical which I think is a good thing overall:)

I'm like you, more naive than cynical, but I can be cynical at times.

Some mixture of both. More cynical than naive these days, I think.

Sadly, as I have got older, I have become more cynical, but there are still situations where I'm quite naive.

Depends on what it is. I used to be naive and think everyone wanted to good but then I became cynical when I realized that those who proclaim to be good were rotten on the inside.

I would have to say Naive because I do believe that people are good and nice and I like my bubble of bliss.... It take too much energy to be cynical.

Very cynical. But I portray myself as naive so that when people try to take advantage of me, I can make them look stupid.
It is part of my cynical nature.
