Great characters, great writing, great cast... lots of mystery. They answer just enough to keep me satisfied, but open new questions that keep me thinking and anxious to see the next episode. This is the only show on TV that I consider to be appointment television - everything else I could take it or leave it. Plus, it's an epic battle between good & evil, but there are a lot of morally grey characters, so they always keep you guessing.
I hope the writer's strike is over soon, we need them to write more new episodes!

Because it's a classic story of good and evil - but we may not know who the good guys or the bad guys really are...
Because it speaks to the part of human nature that wants to save the world from itself.
Because it has just enough "magic" to be more fun than the average drama.
And because the writers have done a fantastic job keeping me just barely at the edge of my seat...They answer just enough questions to make me feel like I have the answers, but then manage to leave me hanging at the end of each epsiode, so that I can't wait for next week!
