I drove pass a Jehovah Witness Hall today and saw about 15 neighborhood dogs standing in front of the hall's doors, this looked really scary any mysterious. These were different dogs from all around the neighborhood. What could possibly have attracted these dogs to this Hall. There were no cars there and it was at 7am today. This was very wierd and I would like to know if there could possibly have been some type of connection or something that I dont know about. I am not a Jehovah's Witness but am very curious and need serious answers only please.

I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses. As a whole, we are not superstitious at all- but I still would have been curious too lol. Not because I'd think anything devious was going on but that IS a lot of dogs!
I like the explanation given that it could've been a female in heat attracting them all.

Is there a lot of problems with strays in that area? I would've called animal control because even though I love animals, that large a number in one place could quickly escalate to bad business.

Anyhow- there is no connection with Witnesses and dogs. It was just a weird coincidence.

I am a studying Witness, and the dogs don't have anything to with the hall? lol, There must of been something that attracted the dogs or something. Food maybe. It's odd that you would think there is some mysterious explanation for why the dogs were there..Maybe because you think Jehovah's witnesses are weird. I'm sure that if there would be dogs around a church there would be no questions asked.

well by me having dogs ,,if you saw about 15, im pretty sure one was a female, and theres a strong possibility that she may have been in heat or may be in heat, so if no one was at the hall that morning the neighborhood dogs would just roam about there but would probably move on to some one elses yard as the day goes on. Nothing peculiar just random gathering of dogs sniffing to find out which was in heat, its normal with dogs..... cats too. If they're loose & not caged.

As it says on the price is right , Help control the pet population have your pet spaded or neutered.....

There are No animal sacrifices conducted at Kingdom Halls. You sure you did not see 15 Pigeons? What is Remarkable is you knowing exactly How many Dogs there were? Were they standing in single file that allowed you to count? just asking.

To go along with criss_x's answer, why is it SO mysterious and suspicious that dogs are gathering around a building? If these dogs were hanging around some other building, this wouldn't even be an issue, but since people love to slander JW's, of course this is going to be such a conspiracy.

.......hmmmmmmmm, first I've ever heard of anything like that. Maybe the neighborhood isn't respecting the leash laws.
Anyhow, I wouldn't try to read too much into a freak coincidence like that.....it could have been any building, even your church.....so who knows.

Probably a very odd coincidence. We had a pure white dog outside of our hall once that wouldnt go away for weeks. i thought it was kind of odd too but nothing really suspicious about it.

One of the dogs was female and on heat. The rest were male and were following her around because of the pheromones they could pick from her.

Simple.
