There is reference to a Tiglhein for an old jigsaw puzzle illustration but it claims he's unknown. I believe his correct name is Elimar Ulrich Bruno Piglhein and it sounds like it may have been one of his pastels, however, most of the informative sites are in German. He was a professor and an important part of the Munich art world. Perhaps you can recognize the style or your image within his links which may be of help in finding a print. I hope this helps!

Start by finding out who owns the original painting. If it belongs to a museum or a gallery, they should have prints available. If it's part of a private collection, then you may have a bit of a problem. I know I'm not much help, but it's probably a good first step in the right direction. Good luck.

i have the print, "pals" it is a 12"x12" print of a child and a dog sitting on a bench over a lake or by water. is this the one you are after, how did you hear about it.
