I would go for some nice blonde highlights. It is a nice way of changing your hair color without do the whole thing, and a lot easier to fix if you don't like it. Then if you like it, you can go for a more drastic change.

H'mmm . . .
OK, First things First !
You don't say how tall you are, your general physical shape, what skin tone , etcetera . . .
Why is this important ? -
Simple ! Its because any change in hair color affects the OVERALL image that you present to others.
If you want to present an 'in your face' style then go for a really loud color that clashes with your natural coloring.
If you want a natural looking style then go for harmony in tones and colors.
It's up to you !
There is a catch, of course !
You MUST overhaul your make up style TOO !
Why ? Well, this is as influential as your hair color.
Do you want to present a 'hot' sexually provocative look ? Go for platinum. Never fails.
But be careful to get it done professionally. It can make you look 'cheap' otherwise.
Maybe jet black Cleopatra ??
Maybe flaming red?
How about crew cut with leopardskin dyed into it ?
That is SO HOT in Europe right now !!! Admittedly it's costs a lot lot maintain, that's probably WHY it's 'hot' in the first place ! But . . !!!!!!!! . . it's VERY impressive on the right woman.
Anyway, TRUST YOUR GUT FEELING on this.
Good Luck.

If you like being a brunette just change the hue a bit and add a couple of different colors. I am blond with lighter blond and a very dark brown speckled through, it adds demention and makes it pop.....

I am a natural brunette too, I tryed to dye it blonde myself once! Bad Idea!, turned orange, but a hairdresser could do blonde if you wanted it. But I think you should just get tons of blonde highlights all over so you can still see the brown, but it's mostly blonde!
Good Luck!

What is really terrific looking on a brunette is putting an Auburn rinse on it. As the light falls on it from different angles, the color is always slightly different shades.

Well hair really reflects your personality, so it depends what your personality is like. If your fun and unpredictable then blonde would be a good colour. If your more serious than that then you should go with black or brown. And of course you want to dye your hair based on your skin colour to. Very light hair dosn't look good with dark skin.

I am brunette and tried to go blonde but it turned out bright orange so get it done professionally what ever colour you decide to do, I would keep it brown and get lighter tones.

Go a lighter shade of your natural color. Do you have a reddish Brown or a black brown? Going Lighter is usually much better than going darker. Because it supposedly make you look younger.
