If I could explain God to you, then he would not be worthy of my worship now would he? Can you explain how the sun just 'sits' in its place, while everything around it, is going around it?

I think that a wise man said that God 'was the ground of all being'. That seems a fair definition. But why seek a definition when you have to admit like Job in the Bible, that you weren't around when everything began and you don't know exactly everything. No, to define God can only be a vain attempt which is why the Jews didn't like tampering with the name of God...they had too much respect for the concept. Or you could try Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

If you read your Bible you would have your answer. God is a spirit, that can not be seen, nor has He even been seen. He created ALL. Just think about it, IF God was not real where did the first atom come from to split into two, then four , then eight, ...... into all there is today.
Miracles happen on this earth that science can not explain. Like I died in 1976, was brought back to life; but even though I was dead I could see the paramedics rescuing me from above them. My spirit/sole was out of my body, temporarily.
If you looked, even on the Internet you can also find that the history of the Bible keeps being more and more found true. Look farther than asking us.

God is s spirit person. He created all the Heavens and all the Earth. He created his first son, Jesus in the heavens followed by all the Angels, and the spirit creatures dwelling in the heavens. He is our Father. He is the one we turn to when we are sad. He is the one we pray to when we need help. He is the one who will save us when judgement day comes. He is everything. We should live to serve him because he has given us life. He has given us our spirits and nothing can replace that.

God is a Spirit - and he has revealed to us many features of his character and his purposes for mankind. He has spoken through the prophets who wrote down what he told them and then he was born on this planet in the form of a man named Jesus.

People wrote down 4 books about what God was like when he walked among us so we could study his life and imitate him to become more like God. Jesus said "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father."

No, being able to put something into words does not have anything to do with if something exists or not.

If I am not able to explain in words my love for my fiance, does that mean I don't love my fiance? Our course not...you don't have to be a great writer or poet in order to know love.

Cold exists, but can you see it??
Hot exists, can you see it??
Oxygen exists, can you see oxygen?
Air exists, can you see air?

We can sit here and tell you what God is, but you have to believe it for yourself.
