There's actually some anecdotal evidence that might be worth looking at for Ghosts.
Parapsychology is on the border between a fringe science and a young science. It took many years for computers to be developed, for telescopes to be developed, etc.
I think I can spare making up my mind for a few years while they fiddle and see if they can turn it into a proper science.
The deities have had thousands of years to reveal themselves, yet nothing conclusive has popped up.

My experience so far is that 'ghosts and such things' are possible.
I can't comprehend an individual male deity creating a whole world, universe and it's inhabitants for no reason at all...There are many reasons I just find it illogical. Since science shows that energy never disappears altogether, but changes form, it seems more logical to me that a spirit of some kind is left after a person dies.

The natural is easy to explain and the supernatural is not, it is more fun to speculate on which witch did what when. Ghosts and spirits are words made from ancient times. Man has always been fascinated by the unexplained and will always find ways to explain them, kind of like Hillary and the yes/no answers she is giving now...
Ghosts and goblins are easy marks to blame things on too. God also takes a lot of wear and tear on this point also.
God is the supreme being and people just don't want to give up their Humanism and Hedonism to accept that there might be someone who did put it all together, that would diminish their self worth... gag.

Simple... Ghosts have given me far more proof then any 'god' ever has. The god still stands at zero. Possible 'ghostly' happenings are a number of things over the years...and this is coming from a skeptic.
And if 'ghosts' were real, at least they once WERE living people that we may have known.

Nope, no information for any deity. ghosts and spirits are in many situations explainable, employing "God" or asserting "It must be a Ghost" only impedes growth of understanding as a results of it being truly an impediment which you ought to get previous with a view to benefit the advantages of, lower back, understanding. Physics, needless to say have some thing incorrect with their psychological well-being, witchcraft and sorcery...I only say shop analyzing Harry Potter, staring on the action picture Hocus Pocus

Personally, I have never met an atheist who believed in ghosts. There are probably some atheists who believe in ghosts out there. It would not suprise me. However, almost all atheists are skeptics and skeptics require a bit of proof before they believe in the supernatural.

The Devil Exploits Man’s Inherent Need
The Devil has observed humans since the creation of mankind. He knows man’s makeup—his needs, his interests, and his desires. Satan is well-aware that man was created with a spiritual need, and the Devil has cleverly exploited this need. How? By feeding mankind religious untruths. (John 8:44) Many religious teachings about God are contradictory and confusing. Whose purpose do you think this serves? Contradictory teachings cannot all be true. Is it not possible, then, that many religious teachings are expressly designed and used by Satan to misguide people? In fact, the Bible refers to him as “the god of this system of things,” who has blinded people’s minds.—2 Corinthians 4:4.

Maybe because there is scientifically acknowledged documented proof of the supernatural. Isn't it true that we can only see 10% of light or some gab like that? So in this theory we can't see 90% of what's out there? Creeps the crap out of me, but you know, I'm a control freak.
