Why flint specifically ? As in a flintlock rifle ?
If so, many kinds of rocks will do - I read of one man who found a pretty green rock which sparked well : he made up several flints only to find out that the rock he used was jade...
Look along any rocky beach - grab several kinds and test them.

Flint rocks are actually tame, not wild. I don't know where you live, but you can find flint in the Flint Hills, in Kansas.

It depends. Where do you live? What's the geology of the area you live in? I recommend that you call, or better yet, visit a local university's geology department. They will steer you in the right direction.
