so you mean physically? or do you mean spiritually and symoblically.
a tare can be a weed which can destroy a harvest or severely nuetralize it.
it can also be a toxin which destroys the plant altogether.
but spiritually, it is something that interferes with the mind that
the can remove the Holy Spirit of God from the temple.
there is a poison which is described in the new testament that makes food hard to eat. but if people cannot eat anything other than the poisoned food, they have no other choice. and the torment from this poison is very much like taking LSD or Meth without consent.
being drunk therefore was a sin against the saints because it too was not an influence of the Holy Spirit.
Heroin is a drug that has been described as ALMOST heavenly for some, but it too disrupts the Mind from receiving the Holy Ghost. any of these things can be a "tare" against religion. In false religion having the greater poisons and medicince of peace can SEEM to be of God and people can think the spirit Has come upon them, or when it leaves, they might think the same spirit has judged them unworthy.
so the bible describes 2 types of Peace, ONE from the earth, which is made by the hands of men, and the other from Heaven which is pure, from God.
the book of revelation clearly says that the nations of the earth are deceived by sorceries. (plural) and although there are many different kinds of witchcrafts and sorceries, the biblical definitions are mixxed with superstition and confusion. so sorcery as a whole is a form of a tare.
as for the human body, it cannot be a tare! because it is also described as a temple of God.

A tare is a weed (bearded darnel or rye grass) that is nearly identical to wheat until fully grown. Jesus' parable of the wheat and tares (Matthew 13:24-30) compares the separation of the harvested wheat and tares to the apocalyptic separation of good and evil souls.
The hymn "Come Ye Thankful People Come" references this parable in the verse "wheat and tares together sown, unto joy or sorrow grown."

Never seen such a statement so full of error - you don't leave the world and even if you tried to it does not begin death to self and does not make you a tare. The bit in brackets is irrelevant. A tare is literally a weed, but spiritually an agent of Satan.

Of uncertain origin; darnel or false grain: - tares.
They are the false brethren or believers in the Church. Christ will separate those who are truly His from those who are not.
