I know there is a licese (not CAP and accountant licenses) for people who can prepare income tax for public. But, I don't know the title name of this license and what level of education do I need to achieve/complete?
PS: I will be educate in United States

Some states, including mine, California, require a license others let any idiot hang out a shingle and call himself a tax preparer. You should at least have some basic class, like that offered for a fee by H&R Block to the public, before you open up shop. Even with that you will be stumped half the time.

In most states there are no licensure requirements to hold yourself out as a tax preparer. CA has them and I think that NY does. I know that MO, TX, & OK do not. Not sure about others.
