Christ, but you're thick! And I'm not just talking about your weight...
In truth, your "common cold" consists of a couple of HUNDRED different bacteria with similar pathologies. Our bodies DO build up defenses against them, one at a time, as we become infected with them. But there's too many different versions to develop cures for them all, and they're not deadly enough in most cases to devote the resources necessary to develop vaccines for them all.
But in the meantime, why don't you go ahead and stop innoculating your kids and PRAYING for Joe Hovah to cure them when they get smallpox or polio.
Think of it as evolution in action...

What would you regard as a treatment? Your body's auto-immune process will eliminate it in per week. Dosing yourself with patent drug treatments would make it taste nicer, but it definitely prolongs it. (therefore nothing acts turbo than Anadin) Leukaemia sufferers on beta-interferon don't get colds. Do not even believe about getting leukaemia to keep the colds away. Beta-interferon will price you about £three,000 a week. If you're highly wealthy and be aware of a dodgy pharmacist, there is a healing.

Atheists have no gods. Science has accomplished much, while imaginary gods have done nothing at all, as anyone who is objective and intelligent should know. People pay priests much and get nothing in return. Science will cure colds, etc. in time., but religions cure nothing, except priests' poverty. Why hasn't your god cured the common cold, cancer, etc.? If there was a good deity, why would he allow soo much suffering?

Science is not just for the Atheist. I am a Christian and I love science. It has not cured many diseases, but it sure has prolonged the life expectancy of many people with serious illnesses.. You don't see Polio running rampant every summer, or epidemics that wiped out towns. You wouldn't have a computer to use..or electricity...I could go on for hours..Don't knock knowledge..It helps you too.

Ironically because of evolution. It changes every generation. And the term "common cold" itself encompasses thousands of airborne & upper respiratory contagious infections. Even if we began working on a cure. There's no point. It would only cure that strand. And by the time it was finished... the strand would have already changed and the treatment would no longer work. They usually resolve themselves in 7 to 14 days anyway.
The fact that you understand the "common cold" is a viral disease and not a judgment from you god, a sign of witchcraft, or any other misconstrued religious conviction is because you TOO put your faith in science.
have a nice day.

Taking the medicines they have come up with will do a whole lot better than praying that it will go away. Why did the Christian God, 'God', give us colds in the first place? Explain THAT, Christian!!

Until there is a cure, there are very good medications which work much quicker than prayer ever will.
