Believing all religions is more ignorant. Since the majority of religions say that only that religion is correct you would either have to be an idiot to believe in all of them, or not be aware of this fact. If you aren't aware then you are ignorant. If you believe in no religions then you assume all of them are wrong, so as far as you are concerned there are no facts of which you need to be made aware.

But too, I believe in all religions in the sense that they exist. To not recognize their existence in our society would be ignorant borderline blind.

wow, i like this paradox.
:)

there is a warning had among all christians that the False prophet and Antichrist will try to get a ONE world Religious FAith organized. There may be small sects that have such fraternity now. I have heard rumors of them.

Joseph smith testifies that when he asked God and Jesus which church to join Jesus said dont join any of them because they all teach the doctrines of men. Therefore he followed a path where he had to start a dispensation of the fullness of times and build up a New and everlasting covenant for the people of the earth.
So having NO religion is smarter than joining a false relgion.
No religion is better than something that is more evil than the following a false bible believing church.
however, mankind cannot be saved in ignorance, and i guarantee you, that no matter how much a person studies, they can study till the end of time, if they dont have the truth or reject any portion of it, they cannot have a full salvation.

then again paul declared that HIS people In his generation believed all things that are true. but generally they believed what they were taught and thought to be true. So he wrote down a warning that No one should accept a different gospel than what they had been taught. even if it was he or an angel that taught it.
Yet in the book of revelation, there is an angel that has a book that contains the everlasting gospel, ready, to give to the inhabitants of the earth.
so one man says dont accept a gospel from an angel while another man says an angel will have the gospel to give to other people.
i have to conclude that believing in all religions is MORE ignorant. but the weight of the difference is almost too stupid to ask for verification.

Eh.. Believing all religions are true? I've never heard of such a thing. Some are mutually exclusive.

No religions is the only logical choice, regardless of what you pit it against.

How can one be termed ignorant if you know so much about religions to believe or not to believe?

I have quoted of Wikipedia on Universalism

Universalism - "is a religion and theology that generally holds all persons and creatures are related to God or the divine and will be reconciled to God. A church that calls itself Universalist may emphasize the universal principles of most religions and accept other religions in an inclusive manner, believing in a Universal reconciliation between humanity and the divine."

Beleiving in all religions would be the more ignorant of the two. I can completely understand not believing in God at all. I cannot understand believing that all religions are correct when many of them clearly contradict one another. That is like saying all answers to 2+2 are valid even if the answer you give in not 4. There has to be truth somewhere. I am a Christian and I believe in God because I believe I know Him, but it would be easier for you to convince me that their is no God, than it would be for you to convince me that every religion leads to the same end.

In all reality, it depends on how you came to that conclusion. If you tested no religions and believed in no religions, then you've come to the conclusion by ignorance. If you've tested one religion, but no others, and found that religion either true or false, then you have come to that conclusion through ignorance. If you have tested many religions and found one or more to be true or not true, then you have come to that conclusion through research. If you can find a way to test them all (as in, comparing the theologies to the conditions experienced in the real world, apart from those theologies) and you found either all or none to be true, then you have proven yourself to be wise.

Edit: for those that don't understand what I'm hinting at, the only way to find them all true is to believe that they are all essentially false with only elements of truth. You can do this and not believe a single one of them, or you can choose to believe pieces of each.

I think believing in all religions is more foolish, because it shows a lack of reasoning. They can't all be right, not when each of them claims to be the only way. They aren't all the way. That's illogical.

I think the name of the religion for believing that all religions are true is called "Tolerance" by some, and I think it's a crock. I think people use that as an excuse not to share their true opinions because they don't want to be labeled a bigot or hater or judgmental. I think they are pansies.

Being brave enough to step out on to a path is the first courageous act in life. Turning and pausing is also allowed on the journey. After over seventy years of travel, I have learned that a partner or partners ease the hike and not to be constantly asking for directions would be foolish. There are many paths just as there are many people out there. I think Bahai faith is one that joins many strands. Personally I have learned that a deep practiced, understanding of a faith is sufficient to lead to spiritual maturity. At this level you will meet many from other pathways who have found their inner peace.

that's what the worldwide needs you to think of. i desire you have studied some religions till now no longer believing them. God replaced into continually there. that's why he has countless capability. It isn't infinite sleep. it is going to likely be finished destruction of you. in the Bible, I remember they are saying loads of situations "you would be not greater" that's the final thank you to describe it. The paradise would be a theocracy. all and sundry who wasn't already would be taught to settle for and love the equipment. all and sundry would be chuffed because of fact they are able to do regardless of they want till it breaks a regulation. definite, the church is corrupt, yet lots of persons are and the church homes that are doing no longer something approximately would desire to be ashamed with the aid of themselves. genuine, if all and sundry replaced into atheist, there does no longer be any non secular conflicts. yet, that's purely the equipment of issues in this short term. If Christianity replaced into precise and all and sundry have been Atheists, it may be like Noah's ark as quickly as greater. that's a trend going at right here, the greater we bypass in time the greater corrupt all and sundry is. the greater we bypass in time greater all and sundry is ignorant.

I think, the one who has no religion is the more ignorant.

2Timothy 3:1 But be certain of this, that in the last days times of trouble will come.
2Timothy 3:2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, uplifted in pride, given to bitter words, going against the authority of their fathers, never giving praise, having no religion,
