I would recommend either a golden retriever or a cocker spaniel. Both are very good natured and very loyal loving dogs, but I would check your nearest animal shelter because alot of those have awesome dogs but the people that had them weren't smart enough to train them or expected something from them and didn't read up on the breed or just jumped into getting a dog thing. Whatever breed you pick , even if it's a mutt, congrats......

I recommend which you analyze all the toy and different small breeds. If snuggling and cuddling up close are important, then you definately could inspect the breeds with short hair, skinny hair (no undercoats) and no hair. bypass to canine shows and look on the canine there. maximum canine shows are unfolded over 2 days on weekends. in case you call, you will locate out while the toys, and so on. are being shown. consult with the vendors and breeders there, collect business enterprise enjoying cards and get in touch with them later. maximum small canine are playful and energetic, additionally yappy. I hesitate to make particular breed suggestions by using fact i don't know how your loved ones feels approximately expert grooming each and every 6 weeks, canine that shed, common brushing, the section around your place (some canine are like velcro for weeds and twigs, and so on). Or what your plans for the canine may well be re: training, and so on. besides, that's relaxing to try this analyze and you will make a greater desirable determination in case you do it.

My suggestion would be a Shih Tzu. They are very cute, they are small and a big plus, they do not shed. They have a sweet disposition and get along well with children. The only thing with kids, is if you have small toddlers you would need to watch them closely, as the toddler could accidentally hurt the puppy. A Shih Tzu can be trimmed into a "puppy cut" so you don't have the very long coat and don't have to brush every day. My Tzu is kept in the shorter coat, and it is much easier. Shih Tzu's love to play and need some exercise, but don't have to go on marathon walks every day. Good luck in your searach for a new puppy for your family.

I would say a dachshund if your kids are over the age of 10. Dachshunds can have back problems if they are handles or carried incorrectly. They are great little dogs and have great personalities. They can be stubborn though and resist being housebroken. But it can be done just takes patience.

If your kids are under the age of 10, I would say a Beagle. They love kids are very smart and have a lot of energy. They housebreak very easily. They are pretty much indescructible

I have 7 Dachshunds and 1 Beagle. I love them all and they are great companions

You don't need a fancy dog. Go to the Humane Society and rescue a cute terrier mix.
