I am wondering if when you are on the internet if you become a different person. For shy people do you become more outgoing and talk to people. For me the internet kind of brings out the naughty side of me. I have shown some scantily clad pics of myself before which is something I would never do in person. Who else changes on the internet and in what way do you change.

I think we are all somewhat different people when we are in situations where we can be anonymous. It allows us to "let our hair down" a little, to do and say things we might not do in other situations. Unfortunately too many people, friends and family, know who I am so I have to behave myself! :)

People have a "different attitude about themselves" through the privacy of "expressing themselves" through various websites. They don't have to stare at each other. This helps a bashful person come out of themselves. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.

Certainly. The internet is a place where I can cast aside the inhibitions of society and act as I wish. Really, there is no morals on the internet, and rarely any enforcible rules in terms of my style of behavior. Because randomness is not spam as long as its on topic.

Of course! I think that it is impossible to not be different, just as we are different when we are on the phone...we intend to put our best foot forward all of the time when we are only judged based on our words (online) or our tone (on the phone) - we get it messed up when it comes to real life and we trip walking across the room, or say something stupid without being able to hit the backspace and delete it...

I agree! I used to be pretty shy in person but quite the opposite online.

I act like myself but do say things to people that I normally wouldn't say to them if we were face to face. So I guess I am much more direct.

Yea.. while i'm with my friends i'm the humorous/cool guy or woman. while i'm in college i'm continually quiet and that i don't communicate back to the instructor and that i continually do what i'm think to do. while i'm with my kinfolk i'm in basic terms the clever one. yet i assume i'm nonetheless me.
