Say a woman in an Islamic country gets raped by 6 men... What should be done??? Of course, give that woman 200 lashes and 6 months in jail.. Does this sound right to you?

This is the hundredth time i m seeing this story being pasted on Y! A. IT IS NOT AN EXAMPLE OF ISLAMIC JUSTICE MERELY AN INTERPRETATION OF THE ISLAMIC LAW BY THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT, which they obviously got wrong. Islam never allows such "justice", at least not the Islam I follow as a religion. Look around on Yahoo and tell me what percentage of Muslims would agree with this punishment.As for what ThePug said above, I think you should keep your forces in your own countries, at least they wont be murdering a couple of 100 innocent civilians everytime they try and catch a terrorist.

Note that the men also got prison sentences. While I don't approve of either the woman's sentence, the law which she broke or the doubling of her sentence; it is necessary to not imply by omission that the men got off free.
This is a prime example why a religion's or group's morality should not be legislated.

Clitorectomies and stoning and, well, the whole lot of that stuff about women and children in the Islamic countries creeps me out. Sorry. Maybe the people aren't bad -- I don't think they are-- but the culture? Brrrrgh!!!
