One does, we try to keep him out of it, but he's pretty sneaky. We notice when we see the tree randomly start quivering.
The other could care less.

YES! He also knocks all the ornaments off the tree from the bottom as high as he can stand on his back legs and reach. Every evening when I came home from work I had to retrieve ornaments from all over the house, under the couch, etc. I had to stop using glass ornaments all together because he broke a couple and I was afraid of him cutting himself. Funny thing is... when I'm home, he acts like he doesn't even notice the tree. I usually put my tree up early like the first week of December... by the time Christmas is here... it's almost worn out! I used to have a female pitbull... she and the cat were partners in crime. She would never bother the tree, but I swear it was like she would tell him to do it so she could chew up the plastic ornaments! I even tried buying some of that spray stuff that's supposed to keep cats away and sprayed on my Christmas tree... it still didn't stop him.

My 9 year old does not, though every once in a while he goes after an ornament at the bottom. I just got a 3 year old cat this spring, and I really wonder what he is going to do. I'm putting my tree up the day after thanksgiving so I will find out then. He's a playful guy, so I have a feeling I will have to do something to reinforce my tree so he doesn't knock it over.

I use the water gun when they start to climb the Christmas tree ( dont squirt the tree.. just the cat ) water wont hurt them one bit it will take several times before they learn thats is not a good place to be ..also i put the non breakable bulbs on the bottom of the tree and the bulbs that breaks easy goes around the middle and the top

I have two very curious 20 month old sisters. Im dreading putting up the tree because I know without a doubt that both of them will be in the tree. But thats ok... the two of them are cute enough to get away with anything and they know it too!
Merry Christmas!!!

Yes, EVERY year we have a few that do. We have quite a "system" for securing the tree to the wall and ceiling to keep it from tipping.

My youngest does and I think it's cute. She doesn't knock anything down, she just climbs it to sleep on a branch.
