I think that they would like to people to think that their point is not valid, even if the answer is truthful.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and to vote on whatever they prefer.
Also,
ur question is confusing as well as the way you lay it out and you cant generalize like that ..as if you took a survey of all the anti anti witnesses and found that 100 percent give thumbs down to anti witness replies.

It seems self-evident that "anti-anti witnesses" are diametrically opposed to the viewpoints of "anti witnesses". Hence the thumbs down to illustrate their opposition of said viewpoints.

It makes them feel more right in their opinion by showing everyone else they disagree. As well, as sign of immaturity.
People need to accept eachother opinions. If you answer "No" in being asked if you believe in God, what's the point of a thumbs down? Did you give the wrong answer? It's a matter of opinion.
