It depends on the Spanish-speaking place.

Frijoles in Mexico, Peru and other latin American countries.

Habichuelas in Puerto Rico

"Judías" in Spain

There are many other names for beans such as alubias, habas, porotos, pochas, fabas, fréjoles, chícharos, or caraotas .

Use Frijoles, is more commonly known.

In Spanish beans = fréjoles (brown beans or of whatever colour are called fréjoles colorados). They are the most common beans used, fréjoles

El fréjol is one single bean (that is fréjol is a masc. noun).

(Also judías, habas, alubias can be used, but I believe you are looking for the word fréjoles!) Sorry, I don´t think you want a wide list of all the kinds of beans there are?

Food words are often different in different dialects of Spanish, so it kind of depends on which dialect you are going for. "Frijoles" is a pretty common word.
