Ok. well i have recently been going to a new school. And it has been cool. I realized that there is this one guy in my social studies class and every morning he would say hi and then say my name. and if i didn't hear him he would always make sure to get my attention and say it again. He would always smile extra big at me. Sometimes he would call my name and when i would look over at him he would just smile at me, and not say anything. Anyway i had liked him. But, i was way too shy to say anything back. Yeah i would say hi but that would be all. Any way now he has stopped doing all those things. Yet, in class i would catch him staring at me from the corner of my eye. But now he says nothing. what happened.???

he saw that he can't catch your attention by saying you hi and now he is looking at you for the same reason: to catch his attention
he loves you, that's clear
try having a conversation with him to clarify the things
you have nothing to loose;)

OK so what? Do you want him to read your mind? Won't happen.
Stop him in the hall or at lunch etc. and introduce yourself and start a conversation.
Start by apologizing for appearing rude and disinterested in him (which you were - shy or not - you appeared rude).
Use the excuse that you're shy because it's a new school (the truth) but that you think he's kind of cute (also the truth) which made you feel even more shy (again, the truth).
I mean, what harm can it do now? And at least he'll know that you really weren't trying to appear rude - and that you maybe think he's cute...

It sounds like you both are shy. He likes you but I think he is trying to figure out how to approach you. I know if he did all that he should have done something. BUT you know sometimes all you can say is hi and then nothing comes out after that. Try to write him a note and give it to him. That might get you some answers and might be easier for you.

He probably found someone else that he likes. Try not to be so shy and say hi to him once in a while that might help you get his attention back

He probably is backing off since he mistook your shyness for apathy. Maybe if you smiled more, or said his name (i.e. returning the kindness) he'll start again where he left off. See what he does when you start saying hello again to him; stop being shy; there's a beatiful world out there waiting for you. :)

He probably gave up because he thought you weren't interested.. even though you were and you were just too shy to show it..
you could ether tell him you like him, or show him some signs that your still interested (flirting)
Just go out of your way to start saying stuff to him (like he said to you) like hey, what's going on? How are you? etc. Show you are interested in him.

Maybe he just enjoys pronouncing your name "Jerzigur" :-)
He likes you and like most men he feels rejected by what he assumed to be snobbishness on your part.
He doesn't know that you are shy because you never told him.
That is why mankind fight over nothing is because they do not communicate. They do not express their feelings and hide it within.
If you like him and he stopped doing what you enjoy then ask him or tell him you don't mean to ignore him but you are just too shy.

Maybe he thinks he went on too long with no response from you. Why not go up to him and say - gee, I miss your smiles.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained - take the risk.
