Help! I need a better job. I am a waitress right now, and it isn't cutting it. I am trying to move out so I need a little more money than the 300 dollars a week that I make. I am graduating in the spring of 08 with my associates in general studies and I am interested in anything to do with health care and nursing.

I took a lot of psychology classes and sociology if that helps. I am just trying to find a job for after I graduate.. I want to take a year off then transfer to a University or state school.

I will be honest with you. You are better off going to a tech school like Devry or other school where they teach you hands on experience. Some schools even promise to find a good job for you. I have a 4 year college degree and it hasn't helped me much in the real world. Better yet, why not go into financial service. You make a whole lot more money in that area. Financial service can be mortgage, insurance, annuities, 401k. Or get your real estate license and go sell some properties. You have to think BIG. An associate degree will not make you go far.. sorry
