Greatness should not preclude someone being examined. In fact if God does exist, and is as great as people say he is, he should encourage investigation, no matter how incisive, for what could be a greater testament to God’s magnificence than encouraging his children from using their own minds to examine him.

Greatness does not spurn critical thinking, it engenders it. Greatness, however, can only be established after we verify that what we call great actually exists. To say God is so great that he should not be investigated, makes about as much sense as saying unicorns are so great, so it would seem wrong to examine them. I am sure you would consider such a statement nonsensical. Well your plea, not to question God, is just as absurd to many atheists.

The fact that Christians aren't what one would expect of the believers of a God who is supposed to be so "transforming of people's lives" proves his nonexistance without my help. People make fun of the concepts of God which make him out to be a maniac and a monster, which is not the same thing as making fun of God.

Making fun of God is like making fun of royalty; they can't answer back. And I'm satisfied he doesn't exist, therefore don't go around trying to prove it.

Now, making fun of his more ignorant /followers/, and correcting some of their woeful 'proofs' is another matter... ;)

Absolutely!
I love watching believers crumble under all of the facts and evidence against a God, and just resort to "well I have faith". Yeah, that's a real truth-teller there buddy. Common sense and knowledge is a good thing.

i think an islamic girl who raped 14 times has a case FOR SUING such a great God when she gets punished.

for some reason the all powerful God does NOT defend chastity or will NOT keep it. such a great God that you are referring to is Materialist and demonic.

However, there is a God in Heaven, and he has told his priesthood that ALL religions are an abomination.

God is a lot like Pecos Bill; lots of stories all rolled up into a series of narratives involving one character.

God is GREAT and I too describe Him as awesome! So my answer to your question is no. I truly thank God for His loving kindness, grace, and mercy.
