That is their way of trying to scare you into their beliefs.
I like it when they as do you KNOW Jesus....... I always answer " yes I do, he lives three houses down from me"

I love when they ask those questions. And my answer is always sarcastic, something like yes I want to accept jesus about as much as I'd like a hole in my head. And the look on their face after I've said that is priceless.

They are unable to comprehend why anyone might believe in any mythology without being "scared" into it. Logic forms no part of the equation...
