I am Catholic. I have attended a Christian Bible study. After the preachers sermon, I saw and heard people speaking in tongues. Yes, it was incoherant. It did sound like complete babble to me. However, I am already convinced that God exists and this neither confirmed or denied it for me.

I think this is just as valid as any other argument that I have ever heard about the existence of god. Do you think that this argument is somehow inferior to any of the other arguments that you have ever heard?

A friend of mine was a Pentecostal until it came her turn to lead everyone in 'speaking in tongues' the minister whispered to her "If it doesn't come to you just fake it".
