--Now for those of you who answered, do you believe we take place of the jews? That the church takes their place?
Because I do not at all....I believe we are just grafted in, that salvation has become a gift to the gentlies as well-- anyone whom God chooses to redeem (John 6:44, Romans 9)
I believe Israel will be grafted BACK in as Romans 11 tells us. But that we do not take their place.

Israel has never been the One to be grafted into the Vine. God has always had a remnant and we are the ones who have been grafted into their Vine. During the seven year tribulation, 144.000 Jews, 12 thousand from each tribe of Israel shall not bow their knee or give the Antichrist worship. They will not receive the Mark of the beast which is known as a microchip Implant but they will have the seal of Almighty God on them and they will preach the Gospel of Christ during this 7 year period when the earth is cleansed from it's wickedness including those who have rejected the Love of God. No, we are the ones who have been grafted in..

I totally agree - the Church is not the "new Israel" - and the Jews are indeed His chosen nation.
But I gotta voice a couple clarifications. First, the word "Israel" doesn't have the same meaning every time the it's used in Scripture - sometimes it's talking about the nation as a whole - sometimes it's talking about the "remnant" ("not all who are descended from Israel are Israel" - Romans 9:6)
Second - while the nation of Israel is indeed "chosen" - created for a purpose by God - it is not necessarily chosen for salvation. ALL people - Jew or Gentile - need to turn to the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world.
So - it is into the faithful remnant of Israel we are "grafted" - and it is for their sake that the nation of Israel continues to be blessed as well - and I am looking forward to that day when "they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced and mourn for Him as an only child."

Doesn't the Galatians passage say there is no difference between Jew and Gentile? (Gal. 3:28) God chooses to redeem all, it is man that makes the choice against salvation just as the Jews did when they rejected Christ. For the Jew to be grafted BACK he/she would have to believe in Christ. They (the Jews) were chosen for responsibility not privilege, which is what got them into trouble.

We do take their place as the New Covenant has taken the place of the Old! I pray and hope the outwardly Jews join us because God loves them and I do too! There is only ONE body now, not two! That is the Body of Christ!

We do not take the place of the Jews. Romans chapter 11 makes this very clear.

Absolutly right!

Israel was, is, & always WILL be God's chosen people.

The CHURCH, (Believers), is what has been grafted in!

If we read the bible. christ did not choose one nationality, sex, or race of people over another. He choose those who followed Him and God. That is who I think is truly apart of God's chosen people.
