This one does, but I only speak for me.

There is only evolution. Microevolution is the study at the small scale. Macroevolution is the study at the large scale. The processes are one and the same. There is no mechanism that forms a boundary between the two. Belief is not required. They are supported by overwhelming evidence.

I have always considered "Survival of the Fittest" and "Evolution" to be essentially the same thing. We can see survival of the fittest. A blight changes the color of tree bark and the butterflies change color because those who match the color survive to reproduce while those that contrast the color are consumed. The opposite can be seen in humans where a welfare state is developed. Less work, more money, more breeding.
All evolution is, is the extrapolation of those concepts.
I am an Atheist but the words here are my own. I don't and won't claim to speak for others without their consent.

If evolution is a lie, prove it! Everyone has a right to ask questions, express doubts, but the truth can only be supported by evidence, not myth. To answer your question, people think logically make their judgment on facts. Evolution is not a belief, it's a reality. If you can PROVE it wrong, and present your cold hard evidence, hey, maybe we won't "Believe in Evolution".... Can you?

I doubt any atheist 'believes' in The Theory of Evolution. It is a scientific theory not a religion.
I would guess that the vast majority of us accept it based on the fact that it accurately describes how life evolved based on all available evidence.
It is not set in stone, like most scientific theories it is open to new evidence from the constant study and review of it by many different scientists.

I do not believe in evolution. I do not need to.
Evolution is a fact. It has been seen to happen.
The theory of evolution is the best explanation that the experts can come up with that accounts for all the known facts at this point in time.
No belief required, just as I do not have to believe in gravity for it to be real.

Of course, given the mountains of evidence for evolution a person would have to be a complete idiot not to believe in it. It has nothing to do with the fact I am an atheist however.

There are a few exceptions to everything....but for the most part atheists accept evolution as fact.

Atheists typically agree that evolution is the most likely explanation for where humans came from. We can see from archeology that humans have only been around about 50,000 years. Prior to that there are human like remains and those go back only so far. Before that there are remains the still resemble something humans and so forth.

"Macroevolution on the other hand is a lie and should not be taught." I know that's one of the naysayers favorite lines but it's simply not true Arthur.

Yeah if you mean do I accept all the evidence that supports evolution then yes. I don't feel that so many scientists would be lying just for the hell of it.
PS you don't "believe" in evolution you either accept it or live in ignorance.
