If "god" is concerned at all about life on a minor planet orbiting a minor star on the edge of one of millions of galaxies it would only be that life continues in general not any one particular life form and certainly not one single person

God cares about people who put their trust in Him and make things they do in their lives a matter of prayer.
If we try to do His will, as expressed in His inspired word, the Bible, then although we are not promised a 'soft' time God will know of our problems. All we need to do is trust and He will guide our ways.

If there were not a God, how could there be a spark of life?
If there is life after death than the human suffering is all temporary anyway, I think we are supposed to put others suffering ahead of ourselves, if you can do that your own suffering doesnt seem to be that big of a deal.
