to hate Manheim Steamroller?
(please excuse me if I spelled it wrong, but I so dislike them that I don't really care...)

Fireball: They claim to perform "music", but it's wretched and saccharine. =0(

Not at all. However, it would be a sin to like the The Manhattan Transfer.

LAUGH...I know the name but for the life of me I can't come up with a sound to put with it. I even Googled Manheim Steamroller (and you did spell it right) but couldn't find anything that rang a bell. So I'll have to go with no...if hating them was a sin, not knowing who they are would also be a sin and God isn't convicting me for my ignorance!

Sumerian texts from the mid 1800's B.C.E. indicate that Sin was the Sumerian moon God whose adherants were most concentrated around the Sumerian city of Ur. Abraham left the city of Ur and urged his countrymen there to "give up sin".

Oh, you're talking about a doctrine that says that there are particular things that God deems "nasty" and all of these things are written down in one book.....

I don't believe in sin....the doctrine.....or the Sumerian moon God. However, since we see the moon every night, at least the second one could make some sense...the first one is just ridiculous.

Not a sin at all. Mannheim Steamroller is one guy. First, he was a jingle writer.

Now for the scary facts: He wrote "Convoy".

He's part of that 60 year plot to ruin all music we like.

Oh, wow.

No. Not a sin.

But you better not come over to our Christmas party....there's quite a few numbers by them on my "ICXCMass Soundtrack" CD that I play.

You're still invited, though.

Oh...could you stop off and get some Scotch?

Thanks.

I just bought the three disc Christmas special and was sort of disappointed. I had never owned one of their Cd's before. To each his own.

God would rather that we not hate anything, but if it goes with HIS principles it's ok. I'm not that familar with the group, but I'll give you permission to do that if I can with KISS. They may have talent in some ways, but the face paint...Give me a break.
