Currently I have Cherios with whole milk everyday but I'd like to know what the healthiest is.
Also, I'm trying to get a flat stomach so how many sit-ups should I be aiming to do each night?
What snacks can I have that are healthy and fuss-free apart from fruit and veg, nutri-grain bars and carrot cake?

Thank you

oats are the healthiest, all the others are chemically enhanced products.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will damage your back and spine!
Slowly move the upper part of your body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times.
Every week add to the number of repetitions.
You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches - I cam up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

When i was cuttin down i had weetabix. Two of them with either semi-skimmed milk or with yoghurt and chopped up banana.
I woukd start with 50 sit ups in morning and 50 at night so your body get used to it and if you don't feel the ache or pain then do more. Don't over do it.

Snacks- Cream crackers, Yoghurt, Snack a jacks, Toast, Jaffa cakes, Ready to eat chicken.

100% whole oatmeal would be a truly healthy cereal.

Cheerios, Special K, and other any cereal labeled as being "whole grain" etc. are all garbage. all of these cereals are heavily processed and to the body all have a negative impact on blood sugar and insulin levels. the only healthy carbohydrates are those that are naturally occurring in nature and are high in fiber not man-made in a factory.

I looooooooooove honey bunches of oats! And let's see... have you ever done aero's? Like you start out on your stomach then lift yourself onto your elbows (which are still bent, so your hands are still touching the ground or each other). We (for bball) usually do those for 1 minute, then turn over and do sit-ups for a minute, then rest for another minute and do that a few times, and by a minute I do mean actually exactly a minute... haha

Try to shoot for 2% milk instead of whole. And instead of just sit ups do some cardio as well.

My doctor says that there aren't any good for you boxed cereal. They are all processed crap. The good for you ones are oatmeal and grits. The less processing the better for you.

there is nothing good or bad about breakfast cereals, the only real benifit you are getting is from the milk, the rest is just a filler

Special K is a good one, useful for weight loss and very nutritious... eat with semi skimmed milk instead of whole.
