Are there any Kodak Easyshare cameras that don't go through batteries like crazy? My DX6440 is awful.?

All digital cameras are high drain devices. All of them. Look for a high capacity battery, and carry spares. Have a good quality charger as well. Get used to it. My Canon Powershot A710is uses two AA batteries. I bought very high capacity batteries for it. After 7 months, they had it. I had to renew the batteries. Digital is fun, but it's not as simple as it looks up front.
