THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL.........and this is from someone who does silk flowers for weddings, funerals, etc. They do not look cheap, handmade, etc. (as some have already stated). I would love to know how you did the flower buds. Very original and YES, if I was to get married again (been married for 30 years, thank you), I'd definitely buy them or have you make them for me. I'm thinking you could probably get $20-$25 each, brand new. Let the bride custom pick her colors. You might try putting cards or flyers out at bridal boutiques (instead of florist), tux rental shops, church offices, maybe do a bridal show, etc. I think you did a great job and have a great idea! Good luck in your new marriage.

I think they are beautiful. You really did a great job.
What I think you should do is go to a florist and ask about selling them out of the shop. Maybe alot of different florists shops would carry them. They can have one hang at the register with your business card. This way, people could custom order them right from you with no middle man.
With everything so expensive, probably buying the ribbon and other stuff wholesale is a good idea.
I am a very cheap person, so I would not mind paying $6 per
bow. So go to $8 or 8.50 each. Because people do not mind spending money when it is the only time they will be getting married and they want everything to be perfect.

Bubbles! It's good to see you again! Congrats on the wedding, and good luck with your marriage. I hope you guys are both very happy.
On the pew bows, well, I'm not in the market for them--been married almost 20 years, and not planning on breaking up and getting re-married anytime in the near future.
I think they're lovely, you did a very good job on those! I'm sure with the rest of your decor, they were a really nice touch.
I'm with whoever said selling them on ebay isn't going to be your best bet. I doubt you'd make enough to make it worth your while--you'd definitely have to get the ribbon and all wholesale, and I know you can do that, but you've still got to factor in your labor if you're making them.
I'd say if you set up a website, or post cards at bridal shops, tux rental stores, etc. (not florists--they'll see it as taking business away from them) you would have better results than on ebay. I think $20-25 per bow is a good guesstimate on how much to charge. I'd figure how much you have in materials, then figure your time at whatever you think your time is worth--then double that figure to come up with a cost per pew bow. If it's totally beyond $25, you might want to re-think it. But I think it's basically a good idea. Welcome back!

I think I would like them better without the curly ribbon hanging down and just be the hearts.
We're not doing pew bows though. Our church is already beautiful and seems like a waste of money since they dont' show up in pics.
If you are making them custom you could probably get $20-$50 each depending on the size.

well on ebay you will not get much from them.. people that go to ebay are looking for a deal.. my suggestion is that you start your own website and charge what you need to.. see what happens from there.. personally i wouldnt have them at my wedding but im sure some people would love them.. make sure you take some better pics of them too if you make a website for them..
EDIT:
and just to let you know, selling them at florists is not a good idea because if someone wants to buy it then it will take away sales from the florist and of course they will not allow that.. thats like them having other florists business cards by their register lol

I think they're pretty, but I'm not getting married in a church so I have no desire for pew bows.
I too think they're a bit of a waste though, so if ever changed my mind and decided I did want pew bows I would get yours and pay 8$...

I would spend maybe $40 for the lot of 12.
If there are people who like them and are willing to pay your price (figure out what it costs in terms of materials and your time), great. Charge what you think the market will pay and according to your expenses.

No more than $10 a bow. Sorry. It's a nice bow but a little too craft looking. I don't think you would have too many higher end weddings buying the bow.

No offence, but I would not buy them simply because I don't want to waste money on something I don't need. And if I did want them I would make my own. If i had to buy them then maybe $10, they look homemade.

I'm already married, so I wouldn't buy them...
This was the first I've seen you around, so I wanted to say that it's good to see you back, and congratulations! :)
Hope everything went even better than you planned.
