He speaks English. I didn't know what to think the first time I heard him. I guess you were right when you said it depends on the language he uses. 90% of the time he uses English, so there you are.

It would depend on what language he thinks in. I had a French friend who learned English as an adult, but told me that about 15 years later he suddenly realized he was thinking in English. In other words, he didn't need to translate in his head from English to French and then back. He still had a French accent, but was now completely fluent in both languages. I fthat is the case with your husband, I would guess in English, as that is the language he is using, but if he still uses Spanish as his main language, then in Spanish. How's that for covering all the bases??
