I assume that since Sunday is your day of worship, you all go to work on Saturday?

I mean, you think that atheists should go to work on Christmas, even though our employers give us the day off. So I think theists should also go to work on Saturday, even if their employers give them that day off.

Also, some religions call Saturday a day of worship, so I assume you go to work on Sunday.

Please don't tar all Theists with the same brush. The suggestion that all atheists should be forced to work on religious holidays is as ludicrous as suggesting that only black people should get the day off on Martin Luther King day and only veterans should get the day off on Veteran's Day.

I don't go to work on Saturday...technically I only "go" to work two days a week (I work mostly from home). The way I see it, if your employer gives you the day off, your employer's motivation for giving you that day isn't relevant...he or she has the right to decide your services aren't required for the day. By the same token, if an employer decides that your services are required, your personal beliefs are also irrelevant...at least to the employer. With the exception of the government which doesn't have the legitimate right to interfere with the free exercise of religion (including the belief that certain days are "holy"), any employer can legitimately demand that an employee work on any day without in any way diminishing the employee's right to choose between the job and his or her religious beliefs!

I don't work on Saturday or Sunday and I could care less if atheists get the day off on Christmas as it is a National holiday.

Only Christians have sunday as their day of worship, you know. And Christianity is not the only religion in the world. You might like to address that to the proper group of people.

Please do not assume that all theists believe as such. I think everyone should have Christmas off.

Except Gas Station clerks, LoL
