A12 female child suffering from Hypomagnesemia and threatened by death..Dr.s please help?

Dear Dr.
May I refer for you this female child (hameda ali hussain ). She is suffering from recurrent attack of convulsions (intensive nervous shrinkage)about 13 times/day. She has family history of her brothers and sisters who died from the same condition. All investigations was normal except of Hypomagnesemia. She is on magnesium injection and tegretol tab, but know with no benefit. The condition and symptoms exagurated, and she is threatened by death like her brothers and sisters.
I request from you to help this child by doing further investigations and searching for proper treatment which is not available here in Iraq. Please help her.

•Name : hameda ali hussain.
•Age :12 years old.
•Last Mg level test was: 1.06 mg/dl.
•The shrinkage attacks is 13 time/day.
•She took magnesium injection and tegretol tab but no sings of healing.
•She know takes magnesium sulphate every 3,4 days.

Hypomagnesemia is plasma Mg concentration < 1.4 mEq/L (< 0.70 mmol/L). Causes include inadequate Mg intake and absorption or increased excretion due to hypercalcemia or drugs such as furosemide. Clinical features are often due to accompanying hypokalemia and hypocalcemia and include lethargy, tremor, tetany, seizures, and arrhythmias. Treatment is with Mg replacement.

I am not a doctor, but I suggest you do an online search for using the words "Familial hypomagnesemia". I also suggest asking your question again in the medicine section which is in the science section of yahoo answers.
From what I read, you should check her serum magnesium, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus levels.

you already know bro, i do not even imagine about hell - I do imagine about Jesus and why He got here, and if I had any little ones that is what i'd be sharing with them, then leaving them to flow about making their own possibilities...at the same time as hoping and praying they arrive to love the Lord as a lot as I do :) Any determine who scares their newborn into being unswerving to the religion has severe issues (sorry to say) i'm no longer condemning each person, and that i do not understand each person who does this...if I did it could be a huge situation to me. large post btw (((de facto))) :)

I don't know where you live but if it's anywhere in America, take her to emerg at a Children's Hospital. Good luck!
