Gross...
I think your employer is being completely fair. Do you think he wants to be fined by the health department?

No, I think you are being disgusting and lazy. Unless the bathroom is 100 feet long (which I doubt) then you should have no problem walking to "the other side" to use the soap. And if it were 100 feet long, you should still walk to the other side, or request that another soap dispenser be installed. I can not blame your boss at all. If you are lazy in this manner, it probably makes him wonder in what other ways are you skimping.....

I think your employer is doing the right thing. Germs love heat... unless you are cooking your hands into an autoclave or oven then the germs on your hands are likely multiplying like crazy in the heat, not getting killed. I think it's great that your employer is enforcing health policies. Those policies are there to prevent people from getting sick. Please wash your hands properly.

1.) Why was he in the bathroom with you that he watched you "rinse" your hands?
2.) He is being nice.
3.) People need to get over themselves and quit worrying so damn much about "food poisoning" etc. The yshould be more concerned with you not washing after handling chicken etc not your pecker.
4.) Wash your hands before you pee so you don't get your peter dirty! LOL!
5.) Have any of you ever seen the inside of a packing plant? Worried about not washing ones hands with soap! HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

No not at all. But I would mention to him that is is inconvenient that the soap is located on the otherside of the bathroom and should be closer to the sink. Other employees are probably not using it either due to the location.

I think you are lucky that he is being so fair to you. Restaurants have an absolute hand-wasing policy. It is posted everywhere so there is absolutely no excuse not to wash your hands. Just going thru the motions of cooking will not kill any bacteria on your hands..

NO he is not unfair, you are unfair by not preserving the health procedures which should be observed even in your own home. Any cook/chef who doesn't keep clean hands and clean surfaces should be fired. It is a health hazard. I would have fired you no doubt.
