Yes, of course, Prophet Jesus, is a prophet, peace be upon him, as stated in the Quran.
God revealed in the Quran, he is not the son of God, he is just a prophet whom God ordered the archangel Gabriel to blow Jesus spirit into the blessed virgin Mary.
Say, He is God, The One and Only, God the absolute One, He begets not nor is He begotten, And there is none like onto Him.

Isa(Alahie Salaam) AKA Jesus, was a Prophet and Messenger of Allaah. He was born a miracalous birth to a virgin, Maryam. Allaah gave His Word Be! And he was. Muslims believe that he (Jesus) was not sacraficed on the cross but was sent up into the heavens unto Allaah and that there was another man wjom looked like Jesus who was killed on the cross. Muslims also believe that he will come back to earth one day. He is mentioned more times in the Quran than Prophet Muhammad.

And Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah (the Savior), Jews believe he was a prophet or rabbi, and some Hindu sects believe that Jesus was an incarnation of Vishnu (the Creator).

There are many other differences in these religions, bus as this question pertains specifically to Jesus, I will not get into the other differences.

All viewpoints on Jesus make sense, when put into context.

Jews don't believe the Messiah has yet come, so they view Jesus as a prophet or teacher.

Muslims believe there is no Messiah, so they also view Jesus as a prophet.

Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah that the Jews are waiting for.

Some Hindus belive that Jesus is oneo f many incarnations of Vishnu. Vishnu is the Creator god, so this syncs fairly well with the Christian belief that Jesus is God in human form.

As a Christian, I have no problem with the Muslim viewpoint of Jesus. When you take the time to try to understand why each religion views Jesus the way they do, I do not find any of these veiwpoints offensive. I find them all to be logical, when put in context of which religion has which viewpoint.

Personally, I am a Christain, but I have no problem with others choosing to worship in a different manner.

Jesus was a Prophet, but that was only a tiny aspect of His Personhood. He claimed to be the only Way to Salvation and Right Standing with God through Faith... a statement no other Prophet has made. The words He spoke can be challenged but cannot be erased. He's either the Son sent from God or a cult leader like Charles Manson.

There are Prophets today, who speak under inspiration. One can be a Prophet yet remain quite short of being a Propitiator for all Sin against God.

The truth of who Jesus is and Who claimed to be is revealed by the power of the Holy Spirit of God. You believe Jesus is a prophet because man has told you this. search for yourself to see if what they speak is true, Jesus
SAID " I AM the Way, the Truth and the LIfe and NO MAN comes to the Father except through ME"
Ask the Holy Spirit if this is true and you will know the truth and the truth will set you Free!

suggestions?
I'm unclear. What suggestions are you looking for?

By and large, I think Christians are not aware that Muslims consider Jesus a prophet.

Muslims believe many false things. That's what happens when you follow a false prophet.

Jesus was not a prophet, but the son of of the almighty GOD. He is the Messiah, our Savior. He is the only way to the Father.

As a disciple of Christ, I feel good that Muslims regard Him as a great prophet, but I also feel that it is my duty to point out that the Qu'ran speaks of Christ as more than a prophet, performing miracles and being sinless.

You can't just say that Jesus was a good man. You have 3 options, based on what he said was true about himself:
1) He is the Messiah.
2) He is crazy (if he's not the Messiah and believes what he says about himself)
3) He is a liar (if he's not the Messiah and isn't crazy)

JESUS IS THE MESSIAH!
There are over 400 prophecies in the Old Testament which point to the coming Messiah and to His life and death. Jesus Christ perfectly fulfilled every single one of them. The odds of someone doing that are too great to even figure. It is impossible. All of them made hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus and fulfilled to the letter in Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
George Heron, a French mathematician, calculated that the odds of one man fulfilling only 40 of those prophecies are 1 in 10 to the power of 157. That is a 1 followed by 157 zeros. Compare it to this; your odds on winning the state lottery are 14 followed by 6 zeros.

Another mathematician, Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, claims the odds of being fulfilled only 60 of them by the only person who claimed to be the Son of God, and who died on a "tree" on Calvary, and who rose the 3rd day are astronomical!... not just one in one trillion, but one out of ten to the 895th power. That is a one over a one followed by 895 zeros.

Jesus is the Messiah! Only one whom is completely blinded by Satan's distractions and lies would believe otherwise
