You were worship no other god from me.

(It's one of the ten commandements)

Does this mean that he is acknowledging the existence of other gods and telling us not to worship them? Do these other gods exist? Can we choose a god and be right whichever one we choose?

God is referring to the idols that were created by man. This commandment was broken very quickly. When Moses was on the mountain with God, Aaron came down and the Isrealites wanted a God of their own design to worship. Aarom made them a golden calf to worship and they set up an alter to the calf. These are the types of gods that God was referring to.

No, He is the one true living God, and there are no others- however whatever we worship can become our own personal god, so if someone/thing other than God is worshiped in our lives, it is an idol. No there are no other gods, unless you choose to think there is and worship something that does not exist

Anyone who puts something up on a pedestal, is basically making them a god. For instance- some people who have hot rods and love to fix them up and parade them around and take pride in this; that's basically making that car a god. God states to not do this b/c he is the only God and the other gods are fake. Think of the time when the seven plagues came to Egypt and the last plague killed off the first born of every child what was not protected by the blood. The pharoh wanted his god to bring him back to live, but couldn't b/c he had no power. That's what that commandment is talking about!

I think an angel could be considered a "God like" creator. He saying do not worship no other God. So that like saying don't get it in your head that there is another God. make sense ?
Do not worship another God because there is none like God. all others are a creation of God.

Absolutely, God recogonizes many other gods, like the god of money, god of materialism, etc. Many people worship these false gods. You are free to choose whatever god you want, but only the true God can offer you eternal life through Jesus Christ.

I think here the word ''gods'' dosen't refer to some gods from heaven or smth like this. You can make a god from your money, your family, from an object etc....if you read the Bible you know i'm telling the truth becouse people of Israel were tempted to worship some gods made from human hands...a calf,a cow,or a men like Moses.....like other peoples.Nowadays people are tempt to do gods from their childrens,tv,computer,money...etc

gods is in lower case meaning anything of worship, not an actual God. there is a difference when they are capital or not. for it goes back to the Hebrew Elohim and how its being used.

Dont know what translation you have, but I understand it to say "you shall have no other gods before Me" Yes, others do exist- as well as "things' we idolize can be our gods too. Jehovah God is a jealous God.....
