Not mine, I am always learning more about the spiritual. I am not a traditionalist, so I look for the best spiritual ideas, and beliefs I can find. Most of my beliefs, are variations on what various traditional religions believe. I am creative and extremely focused in the spiritual, so I have done my best, to improve on my spiritual ideas, and training techniques. Traditional religion could grow and get so much better, if they were more like science, into exploring the best and newest, in spiritual ideas and training techniques. I look at anything that draws my attention, and inspires me, no matter the source.

No, I have no religion that keeps me from examining other belief systems. I have seen a catholic troll with some REAL problems posting questions here (and in the Polls & Surveys category) who goes out of his way to insult the Protestants and now the Anglicans.

It does make me wonder he goes through the whole facade of saying he likes to learn from others when he clearly doesn't.

Absolutely not! In fact, I encourage it. God doesn't want us to be ignorant. I don't understand the concept as to how one can "get into trouble". A person cannot be fully informed if they aren't looking at all sides and aspects of a belief system. Actually, it is easier to fall into error when you are not fully informed. Philosophy, science, and religion are all worthy of our attention. Let truth, beauty, goodness and love lead the heart.

When I was a Jehovah's Witness I was in that circumstance. We weren't allowed to take anyone's religious material, or attend churches other then our own kingdom Halls. We where not allowed to listen to any christian music that was not created by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. I am no longer a Witness and have converted to real Christianity. I can now see why we where kept in the dark.......it was to stop us from learning the truth and leaving. It was a way of control.

I'm a "practicing" United Methodist. Our church, in fact, has held classes on further understanding Islam, Buddhism, the Jewish Faith, and Hinduism.

Despite being a Christian (I suppose), I find great majesty and worth in each of these religions. In most religions, even!

Learning is a good thing!

I am a "free will" person. Yes for every link a questioner gives; I will go there and read it or watch it. If not, I wouldn't be able to answer truthfully. Free will feels good and I will hang on to that option as long as I can. I got a true phobia on being caged and enclosed.

Both Islam and European Catholicism (both are godless, non-profit monopolies) are quiet harsh against all dissenters and anyone who lives in a western democracy like the Canada, the United States, Australia, Britain, etc.

No, my religion doesn't, but some of the people who say that they are followers of it tries to discourage it. In a business world, don't you have to learn about other companies on order to thrive within you own company?
