The Fundie mindset: Who can understand it?
These are the same morons who say Catholics worship the pope. What can you expect from such closeminded simpletons?

Some Christians, not all feel that if the bible says something then it is okay for them to say it without quoting scripture. However it is much more effective if they say something like I am only human and cannot judge but the bible says, than then quote the bible. That way it is not them judging but I think some get a kick out of judging others.
If only I had a dollar for every time I received an email from someone telling me I am going to hell.

Well I do not condemn you for your name calling of Christians.
Our belief system does not say to condemn others, that is left up to God.
We must present in a loving and caring manner the plan of salvation. We need to win hearts with showing our love. You cannot change hearts by anger and condemnation, only by loving.
Yes, my hope of heaven is sure, but I do love you as Jesus did. God bless and have a great day.

They certainly seem to!
I've had serveral tell me I am going to hell. Even when I respond that I love Christ, I believe he died for me on the cross, I believe in the resurrection and the second coming....apparently, they say, not good enough. Because I'm Catholic it erases all of that and I'm heading to hell anyway! And what really gets me is that they are happy about it. They aren't trying to save me...they just want to be right and no one is going to tell them differently!

According to them, apparently yes. I have YET to meet even ONE decent fundamentalist who actually bothers to treat a person of another religion with decency and respect. Not ONE.
And I belonged to one of their 'churches' at one point so yes, I do know what I'm talking about

Faith before works, and all that.
"Judge not lest ye be judged," and yet "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?"
So don't judge, but go ahead and judge anyway.
Personally, I'm not a "Christian," but I think it's ridiculous to insist that we shouldn't "judge." When Christian ministers, for example, who have spent their entire careers preaching on the evils of homosexuality, get caught snorting crystal meth off the butts of gay hookers, yeah, I think it's perfectly proper to pass judgment on them as sleazy hypocrites.

Sounds the same for atheist fundamentalists who believe that they won't go to heaven no matter what and therefore are not beholden to their actions. Perhaps that explains the hundreds of millions of deaths caused by communism.

They think it's pertinent to their existence. They think if they don't condemn people unlike them, then they're going to "hell."

That is not their belief. They might judge others but they can not condemn anyone.
