My salary is $2000 before taxes per month. Can I get Medicaid ? I have got no money or no car. My Rent is $950 (include utilities) and I'm living in Newyork.

Why not? They give it to people who can afford to drive Lincoln Navigators and can afford to hire cleaning women. You can try. The worst they can tell you is no. (But then you'd qualify for Healthy NY or Family Health Plus.)

Medicaid has many eligibility requirements. There are also many different types of help available in many different senarios both economic and medical. Best to contact medicaid directly.

I'm not sure in New York, but in Texas, you probably could. They really only starting to get it to people without jobs and/or pregnant.
