Hi birdy!
Heart is where HE is. HE is within you. Each time you are about to commit a sin or do something morally wrong and that tingy feeling you get, which stops you from going any further is a message from HIM. There is HADITH which ALLAH specifically sent to us through PROPHET MUHAMMAD(P.B.U.H) where he said,' my servant will find me the way he will percieve me'. If there would'nt have been a GOD, we all would have been able to achieve what we wanted and get things done our way. There is a GOD and a proof of that lies in the fact that 'OUR PLANS ARE THWARTED'. There is someone who only sees our best interest and the more we show this faith in HIM, the more content we will feel with what we get. ALLAH does not reside in statues. HE is there for all to feel. As far as seeing is concerned, well, HE has promised that those who believed in HIM will be able see HIM on the JUDGEMENT DAY. As for today, just look around and you will see HIM in the chirping of birds, purity of rain drops, glowing sun and cool light of the moon, vastness of the sky, depth of the seas, growth of plants into trees, blooming of buds into flowers, laughter of a child, gibrish language of an infant, development of a child from a blood clot into a full fledged baby, carrying of a baby in a mother's womb, that every thing exist in pairs(even plants, scientific research says so) but ALLAH has no pair, in perfect grammar of different languages spoken worldwide, in bursting volcanos, in a reality called death........most importantly in the fact that there are umpteen things human beings have no control over, yet we like to believe that this planet exists because of us.

Pay attention now. God can only be found in the present moment. Listen to the silence between the sounds you hear, notice the way the light reflects off of things around you. Shift your focus from the concepts and words in your head to the wonder of everything around you. God is all around you and within you, there is no place that God is not. Shift your focus and pay attention then you will see.

Read and believe in the Gospel of His Son Jesus the Christ, for He died so that we may know the truth, for He said the Truth shall make you free.
The law was given by Moses, but grace and TRUTH came by Jesus the Christ.
Moses gave you not that bread from heaven, but My Father giveth you the TRUE bread from heaven.
Jesus in these two passages tells you that Moses deceived you.
To find God the Father who arts in heaven, you must believe in only the 4 Gospels, the Book of Revelation, and the Book of Daniel.
You want proof of God the Father, read Daniel 8:13, it is written 200300, not 2300. There were only 360 days in a year, at that time. This is the LORD's Day, the day Jesus the Christ was glorified and ascended to His kingdom.

Salaam Alaykum,
If you seek the truth..expect it to come to you. Keep looking and never give up searching and learning. I did this and spent many years in confusion as I read religous texts after religous texts. I don't know you or what you will find, but I did not blindly seek and find Islam. I highly recommend you explore it. It is hard for me to imagine anyone with an open heart and mind not to at least explore this magnificent faith and not embrace it.
Wasalaam

Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse teaches an important principle: everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.

Quran is all logical. Nothing in Quran is contradicting to science. Try it for yourself. See how Allah Swt explains the stages of human development in Quran. Its just one miracle of many miracles mentioned in Quran :)
And pray that God helps you find Him :)
God answers prayers of all :)
Good luck!

In time you will either find god, or find nothing. It comes with age and everyone comes to a conclusion, or no conclusion at all. Hence the word agnostic. Either way it will come.

Pray. God hears all who pray to him.
And when My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I respond to the dua (prayer) of every suppliant when they calleth on Me. [ Quran 2:186 ]
