I don't know if it came from god or not, but if you were happy 100% of the time you could never fully understand that you were happy without the sadness. Being sad or depressed part of the time helps you enjoy the good times all the more. Think on this if you were happy all the time would you know you were happy, or even have a concept of happiness.

You incorrectly assume several things, dark lord.

That there is a god, that god made us, that we were made with avarice, that the avarice has no end, that there actually is 100% happiness, that we should have an expectation to reach it and, finally, that we cannot.

According to the Beatles, "Happiness is a warm gun".

I'm not so sure.

Many people confuse joy and happiness. Joy is achieved by our belief in Christ. We have a sure foundation, our joy goes deep, the joy is there even in our darkest hour, and yes we all have mountains and valleys. The joy is Christ died for us and we are His.

In the Bible it states that everything has a time and season, a time to rejoice, a time to be sad. If we do not have sad times, we will not appreciate the good times. It is really rather boring to be happy or sad all the time. Give me life and all the emotions with my belief in Christ. NOW that is complete joy and living.

He didn't and we can reach it.... it just comes when you least expect it and in order to obtain it you have to leave all that is of this world....and become how he became us.....we fail to see true happiness because we have strayed from how he made us into sin ...and in that state there is no such happiness.

we need to suffer too to make us better persons. if all we had is happiness, then no one will be able to influence and transform us.

If you look in the wrong place you won't find it. If you've been looking for years and not found it, consider looking somewhere else.

Bear patiently then what they say, and glorify thy Lord with His praise before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and glorify Him in the hours of the night and all parts of the day, that thou mayest find true happiness.

and mostly blind, deaf and stupid to be a slave, we would be forced to be happy.

Maybe we do but we don't realize it until it is gone.

Of course those moments will always be fleeting and sparse.
