How much he charges for visits or to bring your dog to his Psychology Center?

not sure about his center, but in his book, there is a quote from a client saying something like"i paid you 300 for you to tell me to walk my dogs more", so maybe like 300 an hour for home visits. I can't imagine how much it would cost for your dog to live at his center for weeks.

I don't think you can really compare the two. Cesar is a behaviorist, and Stillwell is a trainer. Two different things. Although while training, Stilwell adresses the behaviors. When Cesar is controlling the behaviors, he is not training. He never claimed to be a trainer. I have watched both shows. Although I do agree with a lot of Cesar's core beliefs and he does good work. Some of his methods are very dangerous to the inexperienced handler. Even he has been bitten on his show. I have no doubt that he has saved many dog's lives that would have been put down. Common people watch his show and think they know how to cure that dominant and agressive dog, they try to pin the dog down and wonder why they get bit. On the other hand Stilwell's main concern is safety. For the human first then the dog. This is how it should be. She also stresses that you need to be the "leader". But her methods are less confrontational and safer for the handler while still gaining control and addressing aggressive behavior. Also, she actually trains the dog. Sit, Down, stay, come, ect. Things Cesar does not do.

I believe what Cesar does it really works I have been applying it to my dogs which both have different issues but never of attacking people or biting etc. They have small ones but it really works and now im the leader and they are the followers and they are so much happpier. It is our fault that they become that one not theirs. So if you actually do it everyday and dont give up and keep urself calm ana assertive and confident then u got it.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/XJCeT

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

from what I understand at the moment he is not seeing anyone. (Being busy with his telly stuff). However dog psychiatrists are expensive, so I should imagine now Ceaser is even more expensive!

Golden Gal is right, his methods aren't really all that great. What I want to see on TV is the ones he doesn't succeed with. Just because he's achieved celebrity status doesn't make him a great trainer. I'll bet you've never heard of Patricia McConnell, but she knows many times more about training and dog "psychology" than Milan. He is known to TV watchers, McConnell has respect among dog people.

Forget Milan, find a qualified local trainer and you'll get better guidance, and much better price.

Well, GG, now that I've also offended the Cesar Milan fans, I wonder if I'll get as many thumbs as you?

Ya I think you'd be much better off with a trainer in your area! I bet his list of people wanting to have him come to their home's is 10 miles long.
His methods are not all that special in fact their very old school. He is just a super star at marketing right now!
find a trainer in your area and you'll do just fine and pay a whole lot less too!
