Because I think that religions are man-made. Therefore, Christ is.
However, I believe that there is a far more superior being than us.
[We would be doomed if we were alpha and omega. xD]

I used to. Then I realized that it was the reason I was unhappy. Christianity makes people unhappy because of the ignorance, hate, violence, and intolerance that it's so-called values espouse.
There are too many questions that can't be/refuse to be answered because of contradictions, inaccuracies, and general lack of significant evidence.
Also, there are more sensible religions and belief systems out there that leave no questions unanswered and provide hope, comfort, and happiness, at least for some people. It's different for each person, and Christianity does not acknowledge that, nor does it acknowledge the fact that each individual is unique in their needs. Some people do fine with Chrisianity, some people are better off with Buddhism, Paganism, Islam, whatever.

I believe Christ may have existed, but as to a god ... there has never, ever been a sighting of a god in all the history of mankind!
Believers beliefs are based on the hearsay "claims" of an alleged handful of primitive people, thousands of years ago, who "claim" a god "spoke" to them ... AND EVERYBODY TODAY BELIEVES THEY WERE TELLING THE TRUTH!.
Nobody has EVER seen a god. I have never seen a god. Looking at a flower or a tree is just sappy, poetic talk and is NOT proof of the existence of the god made up by those ancient peasants, millennia ago.
I don't believe in something just because a whole bunch of other people blindly do! I like to ponder all the questions of life on my own and I'll just wait and see what happens when I die.

I don't believe it, because it's a myth.
The Gospel of Mark is an allegorical story about the plight of the Jewish people shortly after the destruction of the temple. It was constructed from OT passages, to give hope to the Jews, using code that they would understand. Jesus represents the Jews, the crucifixion represents the destruction of the temple, the resurrection represents the predicted rising up of the Jewish nation.

I used to when I was young. Then I grew up and begin to see all the stuff in christianity that just didn't make sense. The Bible, for instance, is a study in contradictions. I have about a four page list of the contradictions (says one thing in one chapter, then turns around and reverses itself in another). I'll be glad to share it with you or anyone else. However, I would have to send it to your email address because things sent through YA have a character limit that this list would surely surpass.

Why should I. He is a character in an ancient Hebrew book of myths and legends.
Frankly I have serious doubts that such a person even existed. There is more evidence to support aliens at Roswell.

So naive!!! There are lots of other religions out there and millions of atheists who simply do not believe in a God of any kind.
What ever makes you think that all these people are wrong?
Whilst most civilized people want people to have freedom of religion, common humanitarianism should mean that those who do not want religion should be left free from it.

because I read the bible. I found it to me... untrue (that's the nicest way I can put it), and its description of its god to be... questionable at best (see prior parentheses).
And if he really is divine and omnipotent, or his dad is, and they have done nothing to intervene against all the attrocities done in their name, that also raises credibility issues.
And lastly, any belief system that relies on rewards and threats of punishment seems more about control than about true spirituality.

because, I am not superstitious.
the bible is merely an effect of the battle that exists between church and state.
each wants to control the mass. the church started to develop stories to scare the people.
there is still a struggle between the us gov't and the pope for control.
I am just thankful the church and state are separate.

that's MY belief. the dog, the cat, the horse,...whatever, has no concept of gods and demons. neither do I.
